Meet the owner, Hope.
Welcome! I am a retired professional dancer, and current dance instructor, Pilates instructor, personal trainer, corrective exercise specialist, and nutrition coach. I moved from CO to NY at the age of 17 to pursue my dance career and after 4 years, relocated to UT to dance with Odyssey Dance Theatre. I spent 8 years with the company touring internationally and dancing principal roles while teaching dance, Pilates, and fitness. These passions led me to furthering my education within the fitness arena, managing a local boutique Pilates studio, filming and creating workouts for an online Pilates platform called Dynamic Pilates TV, as well as instructing virtually for HOTWORX.
Currently, when I’m not instructing at Paragon, I’m instructing independent dancers around Utah on dancer-specific strength and conditioning programs, as well as working with NFL players on the off-season on Pilates equipment.
I am extremely passionate about proper technique and explaining how to do movements correctly so you can build a solid foundation and apply it to any other training you do, thus the rest of your life. Whether you are a dance student, professional athlete, Pilates client, or any other client of mine (and any age), my goal is to make you feel understood, feel like you understand the exercises and purpose of them, and to make you feel strong inside and out.
